County joins with city of Sarasota on potential
ballpark site |
The Sarasota
County Commission voted to approve a memorandum of understanding with
the city of Sarasota to acquire properties adjacent to Payne Park. The
acquisition would expand the park and provide a potential site for a
Boston Red Sox spring training stadium.
