Limited tee times left for KSCB Golf Tournament

A limited number of tee times remain available for the first Keep Sarasota County Beautiful Golf Tournament. Hosted by Keep Sarasota County Beautiful (KSCB), the event tees off at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at TPC Prestancia, 4409 TPC Drive, Sarasota. All proceeds, up to $2500, will be matched by tournament sponsor, Modern Woodmen of America.

“This is turning out to be a very popular event,” said Sandra Washington, KSCB manager. “With a beautiful course like TPC Prestancia and a great cause that is supported by the local business community along with both full-time and seasonal residents, we are seeing tee times go fast.” ABC 7 newscaster Scott Dennis is the celebrity host for the tournament, which is sponsored by Waste Management, Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial, Waste Services of Florida, Coast Cadillac, Waste Pro USA, The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota, Tri County Air Condition & Heating Inc., Holiday Inn Sarasota Bradenton Airport, Signs by Tomorrow, Suffolk, Osprey Wal-Mart and Clear Channel Radio.

Registration and sponsorship forms can be downloaded at the Keep Sarasota County Beautiful Web site, www.scgov.net, keyword “Keep Sarasota County Beautiful” or by going to the Sarasota County Calendar of Events located on www.scgov.net. Check in begins at 7:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The tournament will be followed by a luncheon and raffle featuring great prizes donated by local businesses and organizations.

KSCB plays a vital role in Sarasota County’s Sustainability initiative, providing support for programs including Municipality Partnerships, the Green Business Program, and the Recycling Program.
